We discussed why carbon dioxide and other gases are called greenhouse gases: because they trap the heat and don't let our planet cool down. Imagine going out in the height of the summer wearing a winter jacket.... It's going to get very hot, very soon!
While waiting for the results of the first experiment, we decided to use the chemical reaction we used to produce carbon dioxide, to fuel our very own rockets! Soon, mixing vinegar and bicarbonate soda proved to be quite explosive.... And fun!
